Hello! If you are looking for the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion or you want to enjoy an incredible private dinner party and spend time with your loved ones instead of being stuck in the kitchen, then you are definitely in the right place. I offer my clients a completely unique, bespoke and of course, delicious dining experience, from intimate dinners for 2 to exquisite tasting menus and celebratory dinner parties for any occasion.

Final preparations at Noordhoek

So How does it work?

After you have made an initial enquiry, I will send you details about my services and sample menus as a guide to some of my most popular dishes. I like to arrange a phone call or video chat to discuss details of your booking however, email correspondence is most welcome if that is your preference. Once your booking is confirmed with a small deposit, I will design a menu in line with your own special requirements and tastes. Please remember that unlike going to a restaurant, my private dining experience is totally tailored to your own tastes and preferences which is reflected in the price per head.

On the day, I will arrive around 90 minutes before the agreed starting time. I will bring all the ingredients needed for your dinner. I prepare some items in advance in my kitchen depending on the complexities of the menu, completing the cooking and finishing touches in your kitchen. When the food has been cooked and served, I will then clear away and as if by magic, will leave the kitchen clean and tidy before I depart. It’s that simple!

One of my guests is Vegan, Can you cater for them?

Absolutely! I cook for special diets all of the time and I enjoy the challenge of creating something delicious with plant based ingredients.

Can you come to my house and cook?

Definitely! As long as you have a fully functioning kitchen and are happy for me to use it, I would be delighted to cook in your home. I take bookings in private houses and holiday homes.

Do you use locally sourced produce?

Yes, my menus are always based around the use of local, seasonal and organic produce where possible. These are key elements of my cooking ethos. I go to great lengths to ensure that the ingredients I use are the best I can get my hands on. I also grow certain ingredients myself. Sometimes clients choose dishes from my sample menus which may have ingredients that are only available at certain times of the year, such as Cornish Asparagus. When this happens, I offer a more suitable, seasonal alternative that will work with the dish.

Do you cater for large parties

I prefer to keep things small and perfectly formed, therefore I only cook for events up to around 30 guests.
