FAQs
How do I book? Do I need to pay a deposit?
Simply fill in the contact form and I will be in touch to arrange a phone call to discuss your requirements. I will then arrange an invoice for a non-refundable deposit of £50 to secure any dates. Once this is received, I will get to work on creating your menu.
When is full payment required?
I normally request payments for private dining bookings are made at least 7 days in advance of the booking date. For weddings, payment is due 4 weeks in advance.
Where can I find your menus? I can’t see them on your website
When you have expressed an interest in making a booking, I will send you some sample menus. I only use these to illustrate some of my most popular dishes as I work on a bespoke basis for most of my bookings. You do not have to choose from these as I can create something especially for your celebration.
Are you able to accommodate special dietary requirements and food allergies?
Yes, I can cook for special dietary requirements as long as I know in advance. With regards to food allergies, I operate with strict hygiene practices, but please note that I cannot guarantee dishes will not contain traces of any allergens due to the storage and preparation of many different ingredients in my kitchen.

Who will come to do the cooking? Will it be Chef Fiona NZ or an associate?
It will always be Fiona who comes to cook for you.
Do you provide crockery, cutlery, glassware etc?
I normally use the items that are in situ at the property. If I have written a menu that uses anything specialist for serving, I will bring these dishes with me. If you require anything beyond this, I can discuss hiring of items as appropriate.
Do you provide a children’s menu?
No I do not offer a simple children’s menu but if your child/children would like to join you at the table, I would be delighted to cook a smaller version of your chosen menu
Do you set the table
Yes, but sometimes clients like to do it themselves. This is something that I will discuss with you in advance.
what areas do you cover?
I cover the whole of Cornwall. I am happy to travel to other areas but please note that travel and relevant expenses will be an additional charge and discussed at the time of the initial booking process.
